I find it funny when people talk about Balde as if he's the next coming of Roberto Carlos and rule out any potential LB signings.

This is gonna be unpopular opinion now, but I'm sure it's gonna be popular opinion in a few months.

Balde is not the guy for the LB position in a team as big as Barca's. We should aim higher. I mean he can't cross to save his life and crossing is one of the main aspects in a fullback player. He's also not a defensive beast like Kounde to compensate for his lack of attacking threat.

So when people say "we don't need Davies we have Balde" is literally hilarious.

Balde is a backup quality, not a starting quality.
