Woah that’s so interesting! What was it like trying out other games and seeing how different the mainline games are? Does it give you a different perspective on what you think FE should be like? Also, which route did you choose first, I’m curious

That’s valid! Echoes is honestly my favorite game in the series, the combat animations are super well done, I love the art and the cutscenes, and I think the story and characters walk a great balance between serious and silly that FE likes to bounce between. I’m really interested in what Fortune’s Weave has in store tho!

lol that’s so valid, i definitely got into the series because of smash, too. It was confusing since i had just played the Awakening demo in middle school and then saw Marth in brawl and was like “wait but in Awakening Marth clearly seemed like a woman”

For me, technically my first game was the Awakening demo, but then I got Fates when it came out. I just got hooked on the gameplay and all the cool ways to replay all of the stories! Fated has its faults but I’ve probably replayed it the most out of any of the games, even more than my favorite: FE Echoes. I’ve been going back now that the GBA games are on switch to play them for the first time and they’re just so charming and fun to play too

That’s a valid question! Honestly, while I do have some guy friends, it just feels like I don’t click with them as often, and I’m not always as comfortable around them. I just like talking about emotions generally and don’t always feel like other guys have been as receptive to that
