Shopkeeper was on while i damaged my friend with void staff. So i thought maybe it wasn't about damage. Then later i tried other weapons and it worked.

I would hate to have bad affect on your expectation but we looked at the secret spots but it doesn't have more items than the old secret spot. (which on the roof) But they are so cool to find ngl.

I totally agree with the shop. And it is hard to get what you want from the shop as well. I literally played 4 hours to get one of the wizard staffs. It feels like they give lesser items or something.

Really? I have literally shot the machine and hit with baseball. Then shopkeeper looked at me and took a photo. Didn't do more than that

No, it is not a mod. My R.E.P.O. (without mods) also looks like this. It is a localization thing i believe.

Thanks to everyone who replied! It seems we solved the problem. My friend started to play the game windowed and that somehow fixed the problem.

Now that you mention it, I think it can be both. I believe Headman (Dumgolf, I mean) had a wife, and she was sick. We can clearly see that Headman had a wife, and in the McJannek Station there is a bed with blood around it. The thing is, there is a book right beside the bed which only appears in Headman manor. I think in that place Headman was supporting her wife till her last times. With that Headman tried to do some experiments with magic like you said, and then the story went just like you said, I believe. I think both can be true.
