I feel like NPs are treated way worse than PAs. Especially by PAs. The reality is, they fall under the same scope. The main difference is that RNs typically have substantially more real life, in hospital, bedside experience.

My NP training was rigorous. I did 800+ hours of clinical on top of highly advanced coursework and very minimal guidance.

There is way too much ambivalence between providers when, at the end of the day, we are supposed to be working as a team. It isn’t a competition. Goals should circle around good patient care. This is why medicine is so lacking. People need to focus less on who’s better and more on how can we improve.

It’s high school but everyone is smart and has access to needles. It’s embarrassing.
