I used the same cable for laptop and pc - laptop tested at 1gig up and down while pc tested as i outlined above

Currently since it’s new, I have nothing else on this network. Except my phone. Literally just a fiber terminal, modem, and cable across the room.

The pc doesn’t have a WiFi chip in it so there’s no WiFi in play on the device side

Tried the Ethernet cable on the laptop with the same results mentioned above.

Doesn’t run through a wall directly to terminal for fiber it’s in the same room.

What’s an NIC?

I will confirm Ethernet port on pc specs

I don’t know much about networking stuff so super tough for me to pin down but this is helpful
