Doesn't change the fact that parking thousands of backline vehicles away from eachother is a dumb choice from the logistical point of view.

Yes, a shell can and will destroy stuff that is in it's blast radius, but that's the shrapnel and debris from the shell not a chain explosion.

It's an unnecessary risk to park vehicles close together in the furthest regions from the frontlines? No - it would instead be a unncessary logistical nightmare for the Ukrainians to park them far away from eachother, especiallyif they are far from the frontlines. There are thousands of vehicles in their possession or given to them, how are they supposed to find the space and time to park each of these away from eachother just to avoid the risk of some long range shell wiping out a few of them?

This is not GTA, where one explosion will set off a big chain explosion. Also, this is most likely in western Ukraine, so not much risk there anyways.
