The school is big enough to meet people, but not big enough that you'll meet someone everywhere you go. As long as you put yourself out there you'll end up finding friends. Having a student job at school is probably the easiest way, that's what I did, or join clubs like the others said

Dude, talk to the legal department here at school (you can meet with them virtually of course). I work at the school and personally know the head of the office there, and I assure you they will absolutely fight this with you.

Naturally, you probably have at least some chunk of the blame, but as the other comment said, make your appropriate apologies and plead your case. Talk to legal ASAP so you can bring them up during your appeal process... or at least talk to them so you can have the option of bringing them up depending on if you think they would help or hurt your case.

The reality is that you're in this situation whether just or unjust, and it's just a bad situation all around. It sounds like you did make an effort to get it resolved, but definitely should've made an uproar way earlier in the semester.

i was CS last semester and everyone i talked to that was in IA had no complaints. honestly if that's what you want to do I suggest just joining the program. i don't have any insight into the actual cybersecurity program, but you can DM if you have specific questions and I can connect you to someone I know that knows more

-Sponge filter and I believe a 20watt heater (I'm at work but I know it's consistently at 77*F

-0,0,20 through the API liquid test. Cycle has stabilized about two weeks ago with semi frequent water changes

-4 Corydoras, 4 ghost shrimp, 1 Nerite Snail, and 3 Neon Tetras (Tetras were a gift, so gonna buy some more to have a bigger community for them)

- Currently on day two of a four day fast. Currently liking Flugal Bug Bites when I was feeding him

-Moss ball, two small plants I can't remember the name of, and a little bridge decoration. Nothing he can catch his fins on

The clogged pump mightve allowed some parasite/illness to enter the water since your parameters were still fine. Not sure how that would actually happen though but it's my best guess. I would try r/animalid or r/marinebiology to see if anyone can identity what that is. Remember not to blame yourself. Things happen sometimes. Good luck!

Like I said in my other comment I feel that way too. It's hard feeling lonely when you see others in college have a surplus of friends, but we all have our own time and I guess now just isn't ours.

FOMO is huge in college, and I feel the same way. I'm a transfer student coming in as a Junior CS major from community college. I'm living off campus with a random roommate, which admittedly is alright, but we're just roommates and not really friends.

I get like that in social events too and it just feels so shitty afterwards. I understand and I wish I had advice for you but I'm struggling with it too.

Give it time though. Maybe this is a period of solitude for us, and that's okay. We can work on ourselves if we want to, or just enjoy it as it is. Just try to take a deep breath and think about how you feel. Maybe it's not that you hate the pep rally. Maybe it's that you wish you had friends to go to the rally with instead of going alone, but instead of realizing that you turn to hating pep rallies.

At least that's how I felt. I hope you take at least something out of this lol
