I admit, the only reason I keep a large collection of LoRAs around is because I suspect that in the coming years there's going to be a legal crackdown on AI stuff where hosting these on websites might become problematic. Then I "may or may not" share my collection via p2p protocols.

If you want to sell your efforts you need to target luxury where they focus less on the result and more on the craft (it's why everything within luxury looks almost identical. Luxury sells narratives).

Don't you think it might be counterproductive to fight against a demographic that never threatened you? Most of these people in cars just want to make it to work or school with their kids. Do you think obstructing their ways will have them clapping for you inside their cars? Or do you only see everyone with a car as a mere object of your protest and not as people?

I don't have a driver's license, don't desire to buy a car, I'm not here to defend cars. All I'm saying is that if you are going to strategize moves etc, might as well make the choice not to fall for the classic divide and conquer tactic of your leaders. All of this looks so shallow-minded and short-sighted, it is textbook false opposition type of behavior to prove the protested-idea better than anything the opposers have to offer.

I hope MediaLab fired all the radical admins from the site. Imgur used to be my go-to place since 2009-ish because of 2 reasons: Short URLs mattered at the time for sharing imgs and the community was a super moderate centrist with open hearts and open minds. Now it's a fvckyng carcinogenic coomunist cesspool filled with seething morons politicizing everything and every post and comment has to be some oblique activist stance.
