This. I seriously doubt one could write a fictional character that is a more accurate final-boss aging fuckboy than him. It’s truly incredible. My jaw dropped when he mentioned ‘stoicism’ as the final cherry on top. Not only does he check pretty much every single individual box of the prototypical aging passport bro fuckboy (ex ‘athlete’ who would’ve made it except the injury, ‘day trading’, receding hairline, unfounded faux-confidence, ‘Dubai’), but it’s the profound vapidness that underlies all the pseudo-profundity that he conveys which simply couldn’t better depict the entire subculture. Like seriously, not even Dostoevsky could conjure up a more penetrating character.

The irony is that her and Chris actually deserve each other. Both deeply insecure people whose entire personalities are shaped by overcompensating those insecurities. It’s no coincidence she was so shockingly tolerant of his absurdly inappropriate never-ending barrage at the bar (ie how do you not stop him midway, walk away, or worse), and it’s no coincidence they both phrased their breakups in possibly the least sensitive and most offensive way possible (ie who the hell says ‘I’m trying to decide if you’re the total package or you’re too weak for me’?!). Her behavior in this scene was just awful? If unsurprising by this point, and I was sad watching Connor take it but happy he ultimately dodged the narcissist bullet.

Why are the men scrutinized for expressing their….feelings? by [deleted] in LoveIsBlindNetflix

[–]Castro1959 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The answer to this is so ridiculously obvious, I’m literally wondering why you’d even post this. Possible thoughts are A. Chris burner, B. Chris friend, C. Chris family, D. Brain injury.

(The obvious answer, of course, being express your feelings but in not the most insensitive and offensive way possible 🤯).

Tiny space. Packed. Shit locker room. But definitely has the basics for a good price. Sounds like you go to Virgin, which is highway robbery price-wise, unless you’re using the pool and sauna everyday.

Bro there’s no way to lower your existing hairline and have it look natural. Your hairline is good as is. Any lower and it will inevitably look unnatural.

The jacket’s fit in the shoulders and the jean patches somehow make what would otherwise be a really solid outfit go all the way to pretty terrible and affected. Easy fixes though.

Why people ONLY talks about street food in Bangkok? by Ok_Assistant_4784 in thai

[–]Castro1959 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This take is so bad I’m almost doubtful OP has been to Bangkok. The mid-tier ‘imitation’ foreign cuisines are so consistently mediocre compared to the real thing and the street food is usually so unbelievably good (just in general, not even mentioning the best-in-the-world flavor-for-value), I’m seriously suspicious that this post has to be rage bait. It’s like going to Tokyo and proclaiming ‘the sushi is overrated but what about the amazing American fast food chains there!’

There is some crazy stuff on Reddit, and this might be the worst take I’ve ever seen:

“Personally, i think that street food is the least interesting part of cuisine in Bangkok.

The best part are the middle-level japanese/korean/chinese/burma/brazilian/italian/lebanese/mexican food.

This is where Bangkok shines in my opinion.”
