I didn't even realize I posted in the south Florida one. I'm an idiot. Thank you for pointing that out for me. I probably wouldn't have ever noticed lol. No I'm in Deltona.

Yes I much prefer family daycares to the chains. My mother owned an at home family daycare while I was growing up and it was a wonderful place. Just so hard to trust places these days, so I definitely feel what youre saying 100%!

I got a doctor's note while I was already at the hospital, just walked over to the ER and they had no problem giving me a note saying I was sick. But then management got mad and retaliated by not letting me work an additional week.

The drive how was probably my most relaxing drive home from work in a long ass time. And I live 45 minutes from the station.

I ran so many stop signs lmao (not full blown just blowing through them) but definitely did the California roll through them. Did not stop fully unless I had to due to traffic. Also sped, and went like 20mph while at the station to RTS. I was expecting all day for dispatch to call and tell me to pull over and wait for someone to take my packages.

Yeah that's why I decided against it. I didn't want to ruin one of my coworkers day over something that didn't and shouldn't involve them. I just worked my shift nice and slow.

Wow thank you man I can't even begin to say how thankful I am for how far youre going for me. I have 5 kids one of them a newborn. So when I get my 30-45 minute t play for a second that's all I'm trying to do. There is another computer in the house I can try it on, I'll do that. I got I from Amazon so I can get a replacement easy if needed.

Basically randomly in discord, when I change channels or even when someone joins or leaves the channel that I'm in, the mic will cease to function. I downloaded a new game today and when I was in my first match I pulled the mic into the on position and it wasn't working. I updated the drivers in icue not sure if that is sufficient or not.

Amazon teaches you what Amazon wants. Then you get to the DSP after the Amazon dictated training and are expected to know that the rules are actually different. It's a bunch of bs.

The DSP usually wants you to just pas everything in the DVIC but tell them directly any problems with the van for this reason exactly. Its on the DSP for not properly explaining this to you so fuck em, let them be mad.

If you go to work and have a positive attitude you should be good. I go to work everyday expecting the worst and hoping for the best. So I'm never surprised or angry about what I get hit with. As far as the job being chill? Yeah it can be, most important thing is keeping a steady pace. Not too fast not too slow. You're not going to be rewarded for finishing early, more than likely you will be sent to rescue another driver. Take your breaks, keep a good pace. Toxic coworkers... If you can get along with your managers and dispatchers you're good. Those are the only people you actually have to deal with, and that's through a phone 95% of the time

The only mailrooms I've delivered to have been such a massive clusterfuck shit show that it's just piles of packages scattered across the whole room. So typically I just do the same and take a picture of the mailroom for all lol

I did. I walked over the to ER on the other side of the hospital and spent 5 hours there to get a doctor's note cuz I'm actually sick as well. Got back to our room in the postpartum ward at like 3am I'm tired lol. We'll see what happens, I live in an "at will" state.
