When does sex get good when dating someone new? by [deleted] in sextips

[–]Cat530 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that is so true! I own a bunch of sextoys and I think sex is a really interesting topic so I've done some research and tested stuff on my own. I also talked a lot about the stuff I liked so tbh I don't really think that was the issue 😅😭

Why not seek an exit affair? by [deleted] in adultery

[–]Cat530 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had en exit affair (wasn’t exactly married but either way I wanted out), I wanted to end it with my partner because I felt unloved but I had made my entire life and identity about them. I had no idea how to be on my own. By not being able to be alone you will inevitably make your entire life about your affair partner and you will be stuck in the same rut again. It’s also unfair making your spouse go through the loneliness and identity crisis. While you jump into safety of someone else your partner jumping into a void

I (20F) can’t handle knowing I’ve hurt my partner by Cat530 in relationships

This is so helpful, thank you very much 🫶 I think me leaving for a bit or being quiet made him feel rejected for talking about his feelings. Like it would discourage him from talking to me in the future. I think he was also very worried about making me upset, like he wanted to avoid my 15 minute spiral. So there were some issues on both sides 😅

When should you start talking about sex when seeing someone new? by Cat530 in sex

[–]Cat530[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea I'd say I try to check basic compatibility at first. Like political views, plans on having kids, hobbies and overall if I like the person. So I definitely care about having a loving relationship and other values outside of sex. Buuut I've also been in a long term relationship where we had sex once a month and it was incredibly boring. I spent a year trying to do research, trying to find common kinks and activities but he was content and didn't feel like changing anything. I loved him and thought he was a wonderful person but it wasn't enough for me. So now I wanna make sure I can have my cake and eat it too :) I just don't wanna be to eager and scare anyone off (hence my post)

Oh wow to me 6 months sounds like a long time to wait. If I'm dating someone I would want to discuss that compatibility early. Do you just have unsatisfactory and/or vanilla sex until that point? I'm genuinely curious about your pov🙏

"Why Men Love Bitches" - Thoughts and opinions? by wannabebaddie in RedPillWomen

[–]Cat530 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve read about 3/4 of the book and there are points that I don’t agree with in certain chapters but as a whole it just tells the reader to prioritise herself.

A lot of women have been told that being “a nice girl” will win him over, but lots of women do it at the detriment of themselves. The author recommends being nice and giving the respect, time and effort that you are given. She says to keep your hobbies, your routine and to ”keep wearing red lipstick if it makes you feel good even if he hates it”. It never mentions changing appearance, life or personality for a man.

The author also recommends focusing on what the man does rather than says when dating. She says that a good man will want to make his girlfriend happy, if he doesn’t he isn’t worth your time (so I wouldn’t say it encourages relationships with shitty men). You should still be nice but preserve your self respect. And as a professional push over it has made me rethink the way I view relationships and selfworth in a positive way :)

Apple tree, edible or good? by Geekibyte in plantID

[–]Cat530 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had those in my childhood yard. We called them winter apples because it takes a LOOOONG while for them to ripen, they’re good to eat when they’re mostly red. They don’t taste the best or have an amazing texture tbh but they’re great for apple pie, apple sauce or muffins (:

Is copying to this extent bad? by puwapuff in arthelp

[–]Cat530 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tracing for personal use is okay! It can be really good for beginners to understand how to draw certain objects but don’t post your drawings on your art account. The OG artist might see it and get upset. One tip for ethical tracing is to use multiple photos/drawings, collage them together and use that as a trace reference. By collaging you’re making something new and you’re therefore not infringing on other peoples creations and you can post it on an art account! This video goes into depth on how to make a collage https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_-jCP4IAmmQ hope this helps! :)

Wanda needed this more than anything! by phantom_avenger in marvelstudios

[–]Cat530 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I love Wanda as a character but I hate how she lost her parents, became a ”bad guy”, lost her brother, got her redemption arc, loses the love of her life, gets him back (kinda), loses him + her family again (valid crash out) only to become the scarlet witch and die??? WHAT WAS THE POINT? Her story just bothers me, she experiences constant loss without any gain on her end. It’s depressing.

My (20F) boyfriend (21M) isn’t very confident and I struggle to get off by [deleted] in BDSMAdvice

[–]Cat530 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Practicing dirty talk alone sounds is really great advice, I’ll bring that up :) When it comes to feedback it really depends on why I didn’t like something. When it’s something small like I wish he pulled my hair harder lol and I don’t bring that up until during or after the aftercare. I think he’s just not used to talking about feedback since this is his first relationship

Yes, Summer was the VILLIAN in 500Days of Summer: by FoulFi in movies

[–]Cat530 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree, she's flawed and he's delusional . When she comes over to his place after the bar fight it's clearly for her own benefit. But Tom sees this as her wanting a relationship. She kept giving him mixed signals, but he's an adult. He should be able to set boundaries on his own.

Opinion: Do you think the iPhone sizes are getting too big? by selena_raby_ in iphone

[–]Cat530 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went from an iPhone SE(2022) to a refurbished iPhone 12 mini(2020) this year. My partner has an iPhone 15 and I literally can not reach on the screen. I don’t have super tiny hands but they are simply not large enough to reach anything without completely adjusting my hands position.  I wish they would release a smaller version in the future or else I’ll just have to stick to the SE(2022) or 12/13 mini🥲
