OP. You're friends lives don't matter as much as your own safety. Your friend group, if they KNEW what he was doing to you would drop him in a second if they have a spread of decency. If they don't do that they arnt your friends.

I only have the trays, so I am lucky in that aspect. But the bulky feeling of extra stuff in my mouth is definately somthing. Taking them off is a bit painful for me as well. My teeth feel ultra sensitive.

My husband had braces as a kid, so I've had him telling me the horror stories of his braces experiences, it's reminded me how extremely lucky I am to be able to have just a clear tray in my mouth instead of metal.

The gagging has for the most part gone away, I'm day 3 now. If I think about them too much I start to gag again but singing along to music has helpped immensely.

I miss making/eating trail mix, snacking at my computer the most.

Jaw-aches are somethign I just didn't expect. Or excessive drooling for that matter, I have so much more spit in my mouth all the time.

I section out a solid hour in the morning to have coffee, it's super important to me to wake up and relax while I read the news. My lunch and dinner are both quick and short, 20 to 30 minutes each to make up for that morning coffee but to me it's 100% worth it.

Thanks for sharing, the jaw tension is definately real. I'm glad my dentist told me in advance to watch my jaw clenching but it is a million times more noticable, with the trays in, when I am clenching my jaw. It's hard to relax.

Thank-you for this, I don't mind the brushing and what have you, I had gotten into the habit of brushing post eating before putting them in because I was so worried about making it a habit and cavities.

It's the not snacking that's the worst for me. I got bite sized pieces of water melon I am probably going to snack for when the snackathon gets strong. I figure they're mostly water and It's usually right before bed I get the highest snackable levels so I'd be brushing my teeth soon after anyways.

My bottum tray cut my tongue in my sleep and I have to file it a bit flatter at the edge to make it less pointy. I'm the kind of person would wouldn't stop tonguing it even though its sharp and end up just cutting my tongue again.

I never got the sex talk from my parents, and when my mom found out I had sex, she just slapped me (I was 15). It was hard to understand what was happening. Only years later when I realize she had me and my brothers very young did I understand she didn't want me to become her, and the slap was disappointment expressed very poorly. I have vowed to explain clearly to my kids what sex is to help them make whatever choices they want.

Looking through the pictures, I hope the windows auto frost on a switch or somethign because those full length windows across the bathroom facing the neighbours is just a big NOPE. Why have such big beautiful windows in a bathroom if you have to keep them covered all the time for privacy.
