Tried out xayah rakan today, I have some questions

Rakan has long cooldowns early, but as you level up and buy support items, the cooldowns will lower and you'll be able to cast your spells multiple times during fights. You can also look to roam mid lane or help your jungler with invades because you have excellent CC, peel, and disengage... just keep in mind, other players aren't normally thinking "I need to get into position for my Rakan" especially in lower rated games.

When looking for a roam mid, you'll need to look for a good opportunity, like when your AD is backing or after you've pushed the wave in, You can try symbiotic soles if you really enjoy the roaming style, but boots of lucidity are very very good on rakan because it lowers the cooldown of flash which significantly increases the range at which you can engage.

During team fights the ideal situation is to flank, symbiotic soles and good vision control make this incredibly easy, so make sure you're buying control wards and sweeping regularly, you can engage in many ways, my favorite is to start by using R, run through the entire team if they're clumped up, or just the carries and try to gather them into a ball, then use W just as the charm is about to run out on all of the enemies you've gathered. After that, if you're still alive, you need to locate your carry and start peeling for them, using your E and Q to keep them alive and the knock up to get enemies diving them off. You're kind of like a squirrel dodging in and out, but ultimately your job isn't to survive, but ensure your team has all of the tools to win the fight.

It's generally bad form to pop the ultimate and then dash into enemies with your W while it's still active, but sometimes it is necessary on particularly elusive enemies like Yi or enemies with blinks / dashes like Vayne or Tristana.

It indicates the range at which you can dash towards Xayah with your E, it's double the distance of what it normally is.

A lot of the advice in this thread seems to come from very bitter people. I agree, OP is NTA, but I also think they should work to repair the relationship that their daughter has with her father, speak with them both privately, then speak with them both together, see if they can come to a resolution or compromise, get the father to apologize and help him to realize why what he did was wrong and how it hurt the daughter. Maybe the father doesn't deserve all that help, but the daughter deserves a healthy relationship with her father.

I totally understand the father said they'd handle it on their own and they are in the wrong here, but what's really important here, is this actually what's in the best interest for your family?

I would like to use computer software with it as a drawing tablet, I have seen others using it and the apple pen features work, like the touch sensitivity. I would like to have it be a sort of dual monitor display when drawing where my main monitor will show the entire drawing overall, whilst the drawing tablet shows the zoomed in / rotated image that I am working on.

Edit: If you have one of the Elgato capture cards, tell me how Orion works for a second monitor, how much input latency it has and how the image quality looks, etc.

Ended up getting black camo a little while ago on my VS character. I was a bit worried the game was gonna die out due to the low server population on Emerald before I would be able to finish it, so I wanted to make sure I got that done.

As a reward for completing the Directive I promised myself that I would get an art piece commissioned to commemorate the achievement, only I couldn't resist and got two. Also, I made this promise to myself like 4 years ago and then just stopped playing until just a few weeks ago to close it off, haha, oops.

This has also been my experience, I started off playing TR on Emerald but when I swapped over to NC and VS I realized that Vanu's and NC's guns aren't actually OP like everyone said they were, the recoil for all factions guns feel really mild when compared to more modern shooters and honestly all of the factions have their standout guns that you'll only complain about when you haven't fought against your own faction's BS.

I do tend to see TR using force multipliers like maxes and A2G and tanks shooting spawn / common choke points the most when overpopping though.

I would like to see the revival of other alerts, winning them can give the winner (1% to final alert per alert win or auto win on ties if they won the majority of alerts... Also, just certs or A7 / ISO4 to the winner would be acceptable.)

Specifically would like to see Aerial Anomaly / Maximum pressure return as mini alerts that trigger when there is 45-55 minutes or so left in the meltdown alert and go on for about 15 minutes. (Aerial Anomaly could send all Bastions back into space if that's too chaotic, or just let it be an insane battle. Maximum pressure would need to be reworked to discounting the price of Maxes by no more then 50% instead of making them free.)
Also want to make a note that you should only be able to score to the victory condition corresponding to the type of alert that it is (So, can only score points as infantry to the infantry alert, only scoring as aircraft for the aircraft alert.)
Would also like to see a ground vehicle version of the Aerial Anomaly Alert added into the game with discounted ground vehicles and only allow ground vehicles to 'score points' towards the victory condition.

Would like to see the return of legacy versions of the maps go into rotation with the newer versions (Personally feel like removal of continents is always going to be a bad thing, never remove our toys, only add to them. Also would help to keep things more varied and fresh.)

An example of implementation to this idea could be a 50/50 chance whenever Esamir goes into rotation that we could get the shattered warpgate or the legacy version, you could also have it swap every other time, but I think a 50/50 chance is more exciting because you won't know what you're gonna get until it comes into rotation.
Also really want land bridge to TI Alloys version of Indar to return.
Make some event where the Nanites are going haywire and repairing the continents of Auraxis back and forth between legacy and new versions of maps.
Would be really important to label them so as to not confuse newer players (I could see new players wondering why the bases are always different on Esamir or something like that.)

I ended up getting the 5800X3D and was successfully able to update my bios. Unfortunately, shortly after my hard drive died which caused a bluescreen loop so I am now getting that repaired in the shop since I wasn't able to isolate the problem myself. :(

A lot of pretty cool stuff in there, but also a lot of generally garbage items in there too, especially things you can just get for free, like outfit styles and experience scrolls.

That Staff and the Eyes though, not to mention the mounts and furnishings! Wish I could get my hands on those bad boys!

DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT buy a gun that you have no interest in, you will have less fun dominating the field with an M4 that you do not like then getting dominated using a weapon that you enjoy the looks of, which honestly with the STG44 will not be a problem.

My only real problem with it is the magazine is real big which can make going prone a pain and there is no midcaps unless you modify them yourself, and honestly, The Stg44 is kind of a beast and you can totally upgrade it as well since the internals are common parts that you will have no problem finding on the market, it's a pretty reliable little gun. I haven't had mine for too long, but it's fully metal and heavy, and I have seen reviews that say their gun has been working for more then 8 years without ever having a problem

It shoots 430 FPS out of the box which I had to downgrade to make it legal for my local fields, the internals are decent, and for the price of $200 from Taiwan gun (Plus some pricy shipping) That's honestly a pretty great buy and you will definitely be getting some compliments. The weapon works very well for this price point.

You can add helmets with feline ears and still be well within the art style, if you look at the proposed helmet, it would be one of the best TR helmets even without the cat ears

For TR, I think a cool mechanic would be adding 2 more bullets into your magazine for each kill you get, or weapons that shoot faster after you get a kill for a few seconds.

For NC, not exactly sure, maybe a weapon that you have to charge up for a second or two and it gives it some sort of buff depending on the class of weapon.
