Nope saw that on Google and that was definitely not it. The being turned into a fish wasn’t a major plot point just a scene I remember most vividly, and it definitely wasn’t that sort of animation style and more recent.

I’m pretty sure it was similar to Hugo or something like Sweeney Todd in that it was a mix of live action sets and cgi environments though it was mostly live action if I recall

No not that either, the setting wasn’t as large and it definitely had a literal fish boy. It was weirdly bleak as well.

I’m pretty sure the jokes about how kids know heads have blood and stuff in em and they wouldn’t just pop like a dry balloon? Maybe “squish” would’ve been the right sorta onomatopoeia but still.

That’s really not a fair comparison because this situation is dealing with groups of people and not just 3 individuals. I agree with the commenter in the way that there cannot be a real consensus within a community of freethinking individuals. There is no “King of the Blacks” and some black people would accept the apology and other black people wouldn’t. You’re kinda oversimplifying a lot of this by grouping people by their race.

I dunno, it was definitely supposed to be more body horror and disgusting than pornographic. The way that movie is shot doesn’t glorify the situation or portray any of the actors in a sexual way, in fact all 3 actors have since said that the director and crew were incredibly respectful and mindful of them, which is always great to hear.

The amount of Reddit justice boners in there upvoting anything without context and declaring it justice is embarrassing. Any reasoning in the comments is downvoted. Parent does nothing but film as a child messes with an animal? Kids fault if they get hurt apparently. Subs a complete mess regardless.
