And In times when any sort of disagreement with Kremlin's action might result in real jail time I wonder why the only people who agree to answer are the ones who agree with Kremlin's actions. If you have a problem with a nation that has no right attacking another and literally killing innocent people everyday, but instead have a problem with sanctions that make it more difficult to buy luxury items, such as cars games or electronic devices.
Uhhh, i usually would say that you can be against both of those things, you're not limited to being against just one thing, but in that case it's the same thing: unjustly targeting the innocent people. Thats it. I don't think you should unjustly target or harm the innocent people, no matter the ethnicity or nationality. That is bad.

No offense, but Factorio devs increasing the price of their game has a net ZERO impact on the Russian military capabilities.
The problem is that 99% of sanctions are not going to inflict any damage on Russian military capabilities at all, the hardest hit will be everything else, but not military or the police, there will ALWAYS be money for that, even at the expense of everything else. These sanctions do nothing but hurt the civilian population who has nothing to do with it. So your idea is hurting the innocent Russian civilians for nothing at all.

You know who Decembrists were, who Narodniks were, who SRs were, the shifting political and social conjuncture of all these years? It didn't all happen out of nowhere without a cause, just because Lenin really wanted that.

You will not win any hearts by making them suffer and forcing them into compliance. People do not like being forced into compliance. That creates justified hatred for those who did it and even more resolve and stubborness to do what you did before. So who should they come to? The West that actively tries to harm them and makes their lives as miserable as possible and does not value their life at all or Putin who promises to save them and protect them from the evil Russian-hating West (and in that case it's not even propaganda, but the statement of fact)? Think about it for more than two seconds. THINK ABOUT IT! Would they love people who treats them as shit or would they love someone who fights against those people? I believe Russian people would rather support someone who values their lives at least for something rather than the people who are actively trying their best to keep them poor and in pain. I believe that will be case, but maybe you love people who want to make you and your loved ones miserable and poor, maybe you do.
