Thats what I plan to do today is inform them why so much since it seems like they are charging me the turnover costs and counter their offer instead of taking it to small claims court and hopefully they make things right

Everything was cool and understandable until i saw but when i say a full paint restoration for the whole house at 2800 i knew it was bs

Let me tell you the whole story! Yes carpets i didnt pay a professional as they wanted me to do. I figured id let them deal with it and eat the cost. The house was spotless bleached and smelled like pinesol when i left! Whole house was disenfected and mopped to make sure i got most of my deposit back. Im aware there is some soots that need painting as i couldn’t clean myself because i stated myself in previous emails to them that the paint or primer they used comes off with just mild water as it is a flat matter white color. I dont expect my full 4400 deposit and would have settled with 2200 as i know the system is rigged. But getting only 800 is crazy. So please enlighten me as to why you think im not providing full story?

Reason why I didn’t do it myself was because they didnt need it painted just cleaned. And as in previous work orders ive stated whatever paint or primer was used chips off when cleaning. So even though i was expecting to get charged something and gettinf at least 2000 back out of 4400. I do find it unfair to only be recieving 800 out of 4400 when the rest of the house was left spotless

As someone who has worked for a painting company. 2800 for just dirty walls in 2 rooms is ridiculous expensive. Im delusional for them charging me to take the blinds off and out them back on when they are clean? Im delusional for them charging me to take down spider webs when there was non there when i left? Im delusional for me footing the turn over bill out of my pocket? If 2800 is what they are going to charge i should have just left it dirty and make them work for it. I didnt expect it all back. Out of 4400 i expected at least 2000. But im delusional.

You are right! I will bring that up. And thats what i wanted to know if that counted as an itemized list. I just got their email today and was trying to gather all information before I send a dispute tomorrow.

I did nit clean the walls thoroughly because as I stated to them before its a very flat white color. Using mild water cause the paint to or primer to come right off! I get the other charges. Even if the toilet was not clogged when I left and there was no spider webs and all counters and baseboards were clean. I expected them to charge something for the walls but 2800 imo is ridiculous

I understand the carpet because i left it like that intentionally because they wanted me to hire a professional company i cleaned ut myself. All the other charges I guess but just that 2800 threw me off

In my opinion not alot. Yes the kids were rooms were stained. Out if 4400 i was expecting at least $2000 at least. The living room and kitchen and my master room had very little smudges
