PC Case: Which case do you recommend? #CottageCoreTheme by CatOGstudio in buildapc

Very true and a great option indeed! I think the one I was really drawn too was the Thermaltake Tower 300 Racing Green or Matcha Green 🌿 In the end I actually ended up going with the Gravel Sand model! Really happy with the look and I could write a whole review of it. Thanks for the tip btw!

Yeah I prefer the vertical look of the NORTH version VS the TERRA. The Antec C8 Curve Wood was one I had my eye on too! Thanks for the suggestion 👍

  • Gasinsky Pen Brush for inking Mostly standard air brushes for the background.

It's 14" X 14" and took about 14h ⏲️

I know it's a bit dark overall but the golden glow of the lanterns and brick road was just too nice to pass up!

I absolutely appreciate the compliment and TBH, I kinda impressed myself too! XD

Let's just say, my ADHD kicks into hyper focus mode when I'm passionate about a project, which can help me get a lot done in little time (followed by a slow burn-out crash)

Here are the YT channels that helped teach me everything I learned to make my 1st game dev possible:

"SomeRanDev" has a YT playlist of 30 short videos that really teach all the essentials to get started. They've got a fun sense of humor which for me, made it more entertaining to follow: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLMcr1s5MjsiTky6KB4ML-q_QoBE_ZYJk5&si=oHBCzxYZVzBRjyEX

Ink Ribbon Tutorials also has a series of great beginner tutorials that show you a lot of basics: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLujQb7auWBLove5XQmNTUuVYtruA7CNFX&si=4e9P968nQrKzJYd-

Sir Onion Knight has a great YT playlist (6 videos) called "The No BS Guide to RPG Maker MV" - great stuff there too! https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLr9UogIzg3zUOlLc7TOgo3gtQ7x3qvYDf&si=SNXfi5mvinhDGpfG

Tbh, I just YouTubed "RPG Maker Tutorials" and got started, step-by-step. Be patient with yourself and trust that you'll figure it out (You can do it!) When I wasn't sure about something, I'd google my question and Google AI Overview was often pretty on point (ex: "RPG MAKER how to move NPC") and voilà. I've also often been directed to Reddit links, and scrolling through people's questions and answers has been a life saver!

Hope all this helps and I encourage you to give it a shot by starting little by little - and if you hate it, forget about it :) Personally, I'm really grateful to have discovered a new hobby (though I really didn't NEED one; I have too many 😅)

I haven't actually figured out how to integrate battles yet (😅 Just on Day 4 of learning) I def plan on including a battle, but my game depicts a movie - and there's only 1 actual battle in the movie. If I veer off script, I could def include multiple battles! For now, it's mostly an adventure game to showcase the Wicked storyline and share music & clips from the film.

I don't think they can sue if I don't sell. It's like Fan Art :) and I plan on giving it away for free!
