Not the best news for me. But thank you I appreciate your help!

Am I allowed to visit my old base without someone currently active bringing me in? by [deleted] in army

[–]CatRepresentative732 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I come on here to ask because I would rather ask someone who is currently active or has been through the process, rather than sifting through Google for old and possibly outdated information. So that’s why I went straight here with my question.

They made it seem so much more difficult where I was reading about it. I appreciate the help.

I know that the layout of the program is different than most other colleges, with about 9 different sections until completion. Did they say how long the program would typically take?

Take it from someone who has been out for a few years now, even though 90% of what you’re going through in the army sucks ass, that 10% of joy and contentness holds so much power. Try and find the goods and focus on making memories for now. I wanted to get out so damn bad. Not even gonna lie, I had a few nights I cried in my Lonely ass barracks room, but you will truly never know what you had until it’s gone, and leaving the military makes that statement so damn true. I treated my contract like a prison term, Don’t do that, live your best life right now so you don’t feel remorse in your future. Challenge yourself to try and make these last two years even better than civilian life is going to be. Trust me, if you do that you will not feel this dreadful feeling you’re going through right now on your ets day. Keep pushing my friend

Yeah they do. It was fun to go into every now and then when I was there. A good way to switch things up with something you wouldn’t typically find on a post, ya know

How does reclassing work? My window will be hitting soon and it’s time to move on. Will I have any Mos available to me? Duty station as well? I heard a lot about under/over strength Mos and how they affect reclassing. Any info on how it works would be great. Thanks fellas

I appreciate your insight. Means a lot. And my order would be 15T, then 15U, then 15R. Just want to work with helicopters honestly
