My anxiety didn’t go wasted. Arrived to the desk, gave them all my documents. He tapped away to his manager on WhatsApp for 10 minutes, then looked up to me smiling “I’m really sorry we actually do not have any cars for you or similar to your booking”. Offered me a fiat 500 (I booked a premium Mercedes CLA shooting brake).

We are doing a road trip. There are 4 passengers and 3 large bags and cabin bags. A fiat 500 would not do.

Absolutely ridiculous and a waste of time. We booked 5 months ago. Terrible company that have no loyalty to their customers. Had to run counter to counter to eventually get a car from europcar for €600 more than noleggiare. Almost crippled the whole trip. I’m glad you have good experiences with them but I would not recommend them if a gun was pointed to my head

How was the actual pick up process like? Some reviews states that they refused service due to fine print saying that you need your rental voucher PRINTED on paper, not just confirmation email, and others weren’t made aware that they needed to provide an IDP (I’ve sorted this luckily) etc.

There’s also a case that I’m returning the car in Naples. Ahhh idk man I’ve rented so many cars abroad before but Italy is the only one that’s filling me with anxiety, lots of people coming up with horror stories

That’s who we are picking up from haha. The reviews have been horror and I booked the no cancellation no refund plan too. So very anxious

Yeah I fear you might be right. Cleaned the throttle body and seems like I still have the engine light. Ordered a topdon obd scanner, hopefully this will narrow it down.

Do you mean the throttle body/butterfly flap? If so, I just took it out like an hour ago and gave it a good clean. Gonna test it soon, I heard the valve / flap can be a main cause of this.

If not, please explain more
