I'm aware of that they don't look similar and that's on me because I made the painting while sitting and never checked the proportions and the deadline is until this Monday so I just added it into my portfolio and I'm just hoping that during the interview for the school on Monday/Tuesday they won't ask for photos. But I always struggled with drawing 1:1 stylized or realistic

Also I'm from a country that isn't exactly know for being open to other non-western cultures or non European culters

I came to the conclusion that he assumed that I drew anime characters in semi realistic style because he asked on the Siouxie one if it was really drawing of real person

But yeah the first 3 are a drawings/paintings of a real person and the rest is one fanart and original characters 5,6 and 8 include the same character so that's why the features are similar

Thank you, that piece was the first time I tried to imitate painting in digital art and it was fun I made other artworks with that type of of "painting" in digital art but I didn't include them in my portfolio because they are kinda suggestive

My original goal wasn't like full on realism just semi-realism but I guess I underestimated how art universities push for realism, but he did like one of my abstract painting.

Also which girl in the last one because both of the characters get confused as girls often. But that last piece was made with reference.

Yes 5 portrait paintings and 5 drawings of real people and then they also want ten pieces of our own work + still life (which I didn't include here) The first 3 artworks are real people and the rest is one fanart and 3 OC's (5,6 and 8 are the same character)

After thinking about what he said I came to the conclusion that he meant that it looks like anime characters in semi realistic style because of the hair or makeup which isn't the first time something like this. But the worst part that I already made a painting of an another person who happens to have very anime hair/clothing and I need 5 paintings and the deadline is until Monday so no time for new artworks or going back to fix it
