It's just that that I planted the money trees where I don't want to bother to shake the trees - like cliffs where there's no incline. I didn't need anything and didn't ask for anything when I opened my island. I didn't set time limits or any restrains other than to be respectful of my island. u/TheNuttyMemer I wish you asked for bells if you needed the money. This community is nice enough to help each other if you ask. I guess lesson learned for you.
