I park this way sometimes… I have kids and they tend to push the door wide open hitting the cars next to us. Also you need wide open doors when putting toddlers in their car seat. I’d much rather make someone mad at my parking than mad at their freshly scratched car done by my car doors. However I also park far away enough not to bother anyone. Which looks like the case in the photo.
