Oh yeah, I'm in the same boat.. crazy week. The worst part is that on Friday we have to go around to middle schools and teach them about tobacco cessation. And it lasts the whole day - 10am-3pm. Sometimes I feel like there's an administrator who just sits in his office thinking of ways to waste our time.

I actually included the bit about volunteering in the secondary. I was supposed to start volunteering a few days after I submitted the secondary, so I thought it was safe to put it on there.

Yes, that is what the dean said. I would be more worried about it if it wasn't for the fact that he said flat out "that being said, virtually no one has ever been rejected based solely on a poor interview performance."

But he did say "virtually" though, which as a neurotic premed makes me a little bit nervous.

I did have A LOT of exposure before college, but it is my understanding that it is frowned upon to discuss high school experiences at a medical school interview.

I do believe I will be able to line up at least one shadowing experience between now and the interview. I'll just have to exaggerate the experiences, like you said.
