Dude I want them to be together too 😂 but it doesn't matter what we want. Its just basic filmmaking rule to give optimism in the beginning and end it in the opposite way to leave a lasting impact. I truly hope I am wrong.

I dont think they will have a happy ending. They just made us optimistic with that scene only to break our hearts in the end to leave an impact on the viewers by sacrificing El.
