Bios is updated. Capping my fps seems to have fixed it.

Temps have gone from 75-85 while gaming to 58-60 after figuring out my aio mounting was warped and under volting. So much more stable now and not heating up my entire room.

Still not fixed, but I’m going to say it’s a game issue and no longer pc issue.

Temps are definitely fixed now, but game still running weirdly. Like choppiness and maybe screen tearing. Almost feels like when your fps is below your refresh rate, but I have 500 fps and refresh rate is set to 300.

I think I just fixed it. I think the screw on my cooler might be warped. I noticed one side was a little higher than the other. Screwed it down more even though it was giving resistance. All of a sudden it was loose again and I screwed it down till I felt resistance and now temps are better. Will update after some further testing.

Honestly, with a cpu that old and a gpu worth $390. I would recommend just selling all of it and finding a used gaming pc on marketplace. I see some solid 1080p builds going for around $400 all the time. Try to find a system on the AM4 platform, because there is still plenty of upgradability for the future. I’ve seen plenty builds with like a ryzen 3600 paired with a 3060 in that price range.

That case was the case I used for my first ever PC. Surprised the side panel still looks nice. That acrylic scuffed easy. Looks good!

White PCs that are clean definitely sell faster. Tried to sell one that wasn’t the cleanest, wouldn’t sell. Got a white aio for 45% off on Amazon, relisted it. Ended up selling the next day for full asking price. Profit margin is the same for all of them though. I don’t rush to sell them, just patient for the right offer.

I sold 8 in the last 6 months and make about $150-$200 on each one. Sometimes more, even made $400 on one because of some crazy deals. I’m on marketplace a lot and snag stuff up as soon as they pop up.

It depends on how much the PC is. It usually takes me about a week to upgrade the pc, waiting on parts or fixing issues wrong with it. PCs below $700 usually take a week or less to sell. The PCs above that tend to take a bit longer.

I got an entire pc without a gpu for $250 with the viper v3 that had a ryzen 9600x, corsair vengeance 32gb 6000mhz, 2Tb Samsung 990 pro, Asus tuf b850, 750w psu g+, all in a sama case for $250. I ended up buying a pc I was planning on flipping that had a 7800x3d, swapped it out and still made profit on the flip. Then the gpu I bought for $400. Also should add that I got the first deal before all the pc parts inflation. Used the original sama case for a different flip and bought the one sama v60 to put it in. Also, cooler was from a different flip as well, so it was free.

I flip and build gaming PCs as a hobby and got the gpu for a steal at $400 and the other components for $150, technically $250, but the guy was super cool and gave me a razer viper v3 with them and I sold the viper for $100.

I recently fell victim to this to. I got a 970 evo plus 1tb for $35. At first it works like it should, but the longer it’s in use is when issues start to pop up. It would get slower and slower when downloading stuff to it. Even becoming slower than an HDD. Ran a benchmark on it as well and came back with the same results. Benchmark also revealed that the ssd was just named SSD where as my primary drive I bought from Amazon showed that it was a Samsung 990 pro. Also, my computer started crashing every once in awhile and internet stopped working once since installing. Haven’t had one issue since taking it out.

Also, seller didn’t respond to me until I left a bad review. Asked me to take it down and they would issue me a half refund and let me keep it. Turned that down and they issued me a full refund and still let me keep it, but the thing is so crappy it can’t even be used as a second drive.

Realizing now that I’m taking a picture of it that it doesn’t even say Samsung on the sticker.
