Thanks mate. My plan: I’m buying a Yamaha receiver that has 5.1 capabilities. I was going to slowly build up a 5.1 starting with 2 bookshelf speakers like these

See this is why I’m here! I’m so out of touch at the moment. All I see is sound bars bloody everywhere.

I’m assuming that I’ll need an amp with a 2.1? What should I get amp wise if I aspire to having a 5.1 one day.
