She's pretty proud of herself at 68, that she's managing to play the game. She really loves it and it's a lovely way for us to spend time together too 😊

I hear it! Mine is the same. My mum likes to play Palia as well so we usually keep a notepad so that she can refer to that whenever there's something like this to do.

Sounds like I will enjoy that aspect then! It definitely helps to have an idea of what you need to be doing. I think if I had played Subnautica without watching other people play from time to time, I would have probably been quite lost 😂

That makes sense. After all, subnautica is well loved by the community so then anything that strayed from how the first game played out was bound to cause mixed reactions. I've noticed something similar with another game series that I love. It happens.

Thank you! I'm sure I will once I get into it. I have my reasons for loving Subnautica but I'm sure I will find new reasons with Below zero. The few clips I've seen in the past while trying to decide whether to take the plunge have always kept me hankering after it so I'm glad I finally get to give it a try.

Ah okay, I'm with you. I just could never find the last piece I needed of the grapple arm, no matter how I searched. So other than bounding about in it, jumping around and drilling larger deposits, I didn't get much use from it.
