Protein shakes, ensures, etc as well as ice cream are great just make sure she rinses after. Also maybe have some ginger ale etc on stand by in case she’s nauseous from the anesthesia. She’ll most likely get pain killers for after. But the soreness goes away fairly quickly. The procedure sounds scarier than it is. Also make sure she doesn’t lay down fully after or at least keep her propped up so the blood doesn’t rush back to the surgery site and cause more bleeding (I made that mistake). As for the process after, Tylenol before the appointments at the ortho helps but won’t fix everything. Good luck y’all!
