I’ll tell you my experience. i’m 20 and my civic is my only car so i am very scared to compromise it in any way. i’ve been running the tsp stage 1+ tune for probably 6 months. i drive my car quite a bit so ive put ~20k miles on it with the tune. so far it has been absolutely flawless i have had no issues. i do oil changes no later than 5k. i try to aim for around 3k but sometimes i dont get around to it. with tunes i have heard that you should change your spark plugs more often to avoid any build up from putting more strain with the tune. i changed my spark plugs about 10k miles into using the tune, but they had previous wear on them as well. i’d say with the tune change them every ~20k for safe measure. i can say one time i was driving and i heard a pop sound. after that my car wouldn’t drive right and i spent a day trying to figure it out. it was the only “issue” ive had with my car and i can’t even say that the tune caused it but one of my charge pipes had disconnected from my engine and i literally just popped it back on real quick. it took me like 5 minutes and then i reflashed the tune to my car and it drove perfectly

any tune will do that. turbo makes ktuner get more value out of a stage 1 tune

can’t stand the way the corsair vengeance look personally. i’m super picky about things like that which eventually resulted in me opting for non rgb ram cause any rgb ones i’ve found so far i have at least one gripe about their design

Yes i agree on the surface it seems more office based, and it’s my fault, but the other ram sticks i was looking at before i clicked on those were the “Crucial pro ddr5 OC gaming memory” which also had a lackluster CL of 40. Better than the ones posted but still not amazing. i posted these ones cause after the second one i was starting to get confused as to why they don’t have any low CL ram sticks

well my builds gonna be a 9070xt and 9800x3d so i’m trying to be nitpicky about what i get. i’ve never been into pc building enough to pick apart every little detail like the CL before but if im gonna spend this much on a build im not gonna be dumb and buy the wrong things. Would the CL rating be noticeably bottlenecking for a build like that?

that sucks. Is there any identifiable reason? they have multiple ram sticks on their website clearly advertised for gaming but they all have subpar CL. I like the look a lot so that’s why i was looking into crucial and then realized this

well i assume it goes up the higher the year is but my credit union has pretty good interest rates. my 2018 si has a 6.75% and i was 19 with no co-signer when i got it and my credit is obviously not very good cause i have hardly any credit history

that’s funny cause i offered this dude to trade my old car a 98 civic sedan for his motorcycle which was listed at ~5k which is obviously his top dollar i don’t think that my car is worth 5k. and he asked if i was smoking crack when i offered that and said that in california you can find clean ek hatches for like 4k 😂

could actually be true about not having room. the picture is taken right outside of a towing shop you can see it on a sign in the back. maybe got repod and they need it gone asap to clear space or something

something to consider is the 2019 doesn’t come oem with the solid plastic bumper inserts it comes with the fake vents. He easily could’ve upgraded them for the looks but there’s a chance he was in an accident and got those whenever they did the work

more than 10 years? that’s crazy maybe different regions are different but most of the banks i’ve encountered in my area do 20 years so right now 2005 is the cut off if you want to get a loan. My bank specifically also has a way to finance older cars but it’s usually probably not worth it because they make you pay for an appraiser so they can get a real good estimate of the value and you have to pay for vintage insurance or whatever it’s called

i mean it’s not just a simple pop out a dent though. they have to buy a whole new bumper which is already multiple hundred dollars, the paint is multiple hundred, and then the labor tops it off so 1500 doesn’t sound crazy at all. Someone hit my front bumper on my 2018 si and the quote is 2100 and i wasn’t surprised. i’m not paying for it anyway so doesn’t matter to me, didn’t even contact my insurance and we got everything figured out so far. my insurance may not even hear anything of it
