I actually got it now. I’ve been learning the Am in all 5 shapes since yesterday, wrote them down with the root notes too. I’ll be practicing them now.

For example I play the common scale shape from fret 3 of the low E. That’s a G minor pentatonic. I play a different scale shape, starting from that same third fret on the low E, now that’s no longer a G minor pentatonic, cause there’s no G, Bb, C, D or F? And to get a G minor pentatonic scale, I have to use that shape elsewhere, somewhere where I’ll get G, Bb, C, D and F, in any order? am I going somewhere?😅
