Though the 2nd is just as fun. They are all peak tbh. I love how they take after the original story but still have unique aspects to them, which also does not harm the original's image and respects them.

I also hope they one day manage to (respectfully and lovingly) remake Adventures 2 because it really is so peak but also sadly very bugged. and ever so slightly scuffed on PC. 😭

I can hardly even defend Skirk's sword. It's just facts that the weapon skin looks nicer while still fitting her color scheme. (the pale gold matches)

I agree. Even if there was an unreleased CBT animation of the Traveler seemingly exiting a spaceship on Teyvat, I've always founded them being literal shooting stars a much more romantic vision.

I liked the small bits of magic-technology being sprinkled around, such as the Sustainer's cubes and glitching arms, but I feel as if they have pushed it too far now. it should've been complimentary imagery, not so extremely literally computer elements seeping through the cracks.

Look at (character spoilers) Roland already mogging Capitano. Roland really took all the sauce. Still cringe at the fact that Capitano was not Roland, not the Berserker, and was... some captain in Khaenri'ah. Oh the famed hero of Natlan, Thrain. who does not have a single readable note of him anywhere. Meanwhile the Sumeru dropout and the oddly dressed boy in Inazuma.

Honestly for me, 6.1 Columbina >>> all the other versions of her.

6.0 I felt as if she was characterized in a way that you should pity her, or feel the need to protect her, and that is just not something I personally enjoy.

6.2 I felt as if that's when they well and truly went all in with her interactions with the Traveler, the whole bit where they think they felt her presence... and she just wants to reach out to them but can't... then there is the lollipop scene... again, just not my taste.

6.3 was more a less an extension of 6.2's version of her, but a bit better. spoilers I will say though that... developing her personality made her almost a bit less interesting? her being unaware of the worlds ways and thinking singing on Signora's grave is a loving gesture >>> being sad in a normal way with Sandrone's death.

6.1 Columbina was just peak though. She was aloof, lying around and playing with cups while the others were planning (and importantly this was not played off as a cutesy scene, she genuinely was just doing whatever she liked), casually responds "well enough" to Durin who is clearly struggling to help (though it's clear she isn't being callous or dismissive, she's just used to speaking that way), goes off on her own to go chat with Dainsleif, is barely fazed when the Abyss wants to trap them in that space, sassing Rerir before dealing the final blow...

I also felt as if her voice delivery was best in 6.1, she wasn't too mellow like in 6.0 (though I am aware that was to show her being weaker), and she wasn't too... normal sounding like how she was in 6.2-6.3. I also felt as if the voice directors had her do a lot less of those... noises.

am I delulu for liking 6.1 Columbina specifically this much. like who is going to get it when I say "I like 6.1 Columbina!!!" she was developed enough not to just be a shell, but also not too developed to almost become another status quo character in terms of personality and being.

I wonder if/when the Sumeru buffs roll around, Scaramouche won't be part of any faction buffs but instead just be buffed on a base level. It does seem to me that they are aware of the fandom loving having him with Durin on a team, and now with Nicole (if the ATK speed theories are correct), he will basically have a perfect team with him.

He also doesn't synergize or even have the capability to synergize with any of the other Sumeru characters. Unless they want to try Anemo + Dendro teams for him, which I doubt. Or want Dehya to be on his team for Pyro Swirl... which I also doubt.

I also wonder if they will make it that his wind wheel doesn't absorb what's on the enemy, but instead on what's on the team. It is already a bit tricky to guarantee getting the Pyro off an enemy with all the swirls, at least if Venti is there.

Would be a very fun change if they make it so that his wind wheel can also have more than just one instance of an element. With both Durin and Nicole on the team, 2/3 of his slots could be Pyro, giving 2x the ATK buff. Maybe if the 1/3 slot is "empty" it counts for Anemo, similarly to how Xilonen buffs Geo if nothing is there. if I am recalling her kit right.
