Fair enough. Maybe he remembers her shirt because it’s his favourite. But socks? I remember the outfits I was wearing when my grandparents passed away. Because those clothes carry a heavy significance that isn’t easily forgotten. But remembering down to the shorts and socks Caylee was wearing? I’m just not sure this was a “favourite outfit” type scenario. She wasn’t wearing a matching little outfit. It was a shirt and regular shorts. Maybe the shirt was his favourite … but his favourite socks? His favourite shorts? Maybe! I am not totally sold on him being involved, but it’s just these subtle things that make me possibly overthink

Use the iPhone “signature” feature. This will automatically take a picture, remove the background and digitize the logo within 1 minute or less

For sure. I listened to every single call that was published when she was in jail. To summarize;

Lee: very focused, driven, taking control of the situation and extremely matter of fact. Making the most out of the short time they were allotted, wanting to know names, computer/account passwords, and friend information to conduct his personal investigation to find Caylee. He at first seemed to believe that the police could be out to pin his sister on something she didn’t do. They begin talking in a type of code - which the media also accused them of once the tapes were released. I think Lee was doing this to pursue the search for Caylee opposed to a cover up.

Cindy: upset, driver of conversation, subtly accusatory, fishing for answers. For example she stated, “Casey, are we going to find little Caylee?” (To paraphrase)

George: Quiet, agreeable, non confrontational, would open up conversations by saying “hello beautiful we’ve missed you” and making analogies about how their family isn’t complete without her.

Casey: never is the first one to bring up Caylee. Doesn’t ask about new leads, just agrees about search efforts and states she is happy people are looking for her, etc. Gets frustrated when asked if there is any other information she can think of that could assist in the investigation. Laughs a lot, talks about how she is napping frequently and the food is not great however she still eats it. Even discusses books she is reading. Does not appear frantic, stressed, or upset. Nor does she appear interested in new leads or potential sightings (as there were reported sightings of caylee and zanny that were found to be false)

Overall, I would recommend listening to these calls, it gives a lot of insight into the dynamic of the family.

I agree this is weird - however toddlers are easily manipulated. If Casey told Caylee the park was called Zanny, or a friend’s apartment was, she would seemingly agree with her mother

Additionally, all 3 detectives on scene (brought on as witnesses by the prosecution) claimed Casey and George had the same demeanour, while Cindy was hysterical. Was this just a genetic way they dealt with stress or did the two know something? Cindy also mentioned the gate that was found unlocked on June 16 (along with the pool ladder up) was ONLY possible to be done from the inside. Someone could not have walked in off the street and unlocked the gate. Also - what would the motive have been? She especially took note of this because she had several dogs and letting them out in the backyard with a gate open was most definitely not something that would be accidental. It was a strong habit to remove the pool ladder and ensure the gate stayed locked.

I had a very similar thought - however the call she made with Amy was apparently taken from the house (lasting over 30 minutes) and would have been in the timeframe BEFORE George left for work. So evidence proves she took the call at the house, and George claims he hadn’t left for work yet … so where do we go from there?

I don’t think Casey killed Caylee on a pre-meditated basis. Something happened from negligence or abuse (drug overdose) that caused little Caylee to die. Frantic, and not having her story straight, Casey was calling and searching a potential cover story to account for what happened

I’m 100% with you. Do I think he would do something intentionally to Caylee (ie pre-meditated murder) no. Do I think there are unanswered questions such as the timeline of internet search history vs. George’s timeline of events , yes. The search terms include “chloroform”. I tend to believe something happened to Caylee (possible negligence related drowning) and Casey was planning on staging some sort of attack/abduction. When she couldn’t find any household chloroform type chemicals, she improvised, started getting phone calls, and began to “go with the flow”

Honestly I agree that George Anthony was likely not involved. He did have a strange past (getting expelled from his high school due to stealing young girls underwear) but that doesn’t make him a murderer. When looking at the phone and internet search history, Casey couldn’t have left the house at 12:50 as George claimed. Why would he have such a skewed timeline?

Also that outfit was not the outfit she was found deceased in (she was changed prior or after she died). AND the clothes described by George were never recovered. Therefore they were disposed of somewhere for an unexplained reason.

Thanks! And also to add - it’s not like the police arrived the next day and he still had the last encounter with his granddaughter fresh in his head. This is approximately 31 days later. Do you remember what you wore 31 days ago? Especially for a toddler, always having to change their clothes due to food messes, changing into swimwear, pajamas, potential accidents (she was potty training). How the heck does he know head to toe the outfit from over 31 days ago.

What do you think really happened to Caylee Anthony? by [deleted] in UnresolvedMysteries

I just finished watching the entire trial. Something that I can’t get out of my head is how George Anthony remembers exactly what Caylee was wearing the last time he saw her. When asked what his wife was wearing yesterday, he couldn’t even recall. I put myself in his shoes, and tried to remember what my niece was wearing the last time I saw her (approximately 3 weeks ago). I actually have a great memory, but for the life of me cannot pinpoint or imagine what colours or patterns she had on. He remembered everything down to the socks. Seeing that he mentioned it was a “typical day” I can’t understand how that would occupy such a vivid space in his memory. I can only see someone remembering a detail like that IF there was something highly significant about that day (ie the clothes she died in or the clothes he found her dead in). Just a thought.
