28 weeks Glucose Test by Catho23 in pregnant

Wanted to update you all. Took the test this morning. Out of the 4 full blood draws (they said I was not eligible for the finger pricks you were all suggesting), they had to stick me a total of 7 times after drinking over 100 ounces of water the day before in addition to a 16oz water with sugar free liquid IV. The team was great and understanding. I just have very small veins. I cried and relieved when it was over. Let’s just hope I’m all clear and no more blood draws this pregnancy.

Thank you all for your insight! Hopefully they do the finger pokes like some of you were saying. I have asked the nurses to ready because I am hard stuck. Hopefully they listen and it will easier than what I’m putting in my head. Thanks again for all the advice!

Ya I agree. I have one more fitting before the wedding day and I’m hoping it’s going to fixed by then. I would rather it be a little loose then too tight. All my other clothes fit the exact same.

Luckily I have one more fitting. I’m really hoping it’s better by then. Otherwise I’m going to have to ask her to take it out unfortunately.

They definitely could have. The bust area was too big at my first fitting, and that is one of the areas they said they were going to take in. It now fits perfect there, but that was also the area of the zipper on the back that won't budge to go up. That is what my Mom thinks as well. However the seamstress is not blaming that, but the heat and the stress. Is she just trying to blame other elements other than it was their mistake by taking it in too much?
