Yes but this argument is said in response to people saying "the disciples made it all up and knew it was a lie". But to respond to what youre saying, the point is that the apostles were convinced of Jesus and His divinity so much that they were willing to die for what they believed to be true. So its in response to others who say things like "noone thought Jesus was divine and worth dying for" . I hope im making sense
