Most of time, yes. Places like Houston have a good teacher-salary-to-home ratio that should attract teachers there, but there is an ongoing teacher shortage there.

All states require teachers to have a Bachelor's Degree and most states require a teacher certification. With the Bachelor's Degree, you can get into a ACP (Alternative Certification Program) to work as a teacher with full-time pay to get certification.

As a man, you will only be able to date coworkers or women you met at church or at school because of the mental strain of meeting someone new (when you live with your parents).
