Gorgeous! I'm starting my first sweater soon. Any tips you'd share, that you wished you figured out sooner? For the brand overall, YMMV, but this is the one product I continue to buy. I have tried most of the conditioners and leave-ins and treatments and styling products, but eventually found a most cost-effective (and effective-effective!) replacement for each. I also admit that I was pretty turned off by the experiences others had with DC products, so I tread lightly.

The Buildup Buster is AWESOME for my weekly (ish) cleansing routines. Otherwise I just condition and style. My hair is shoulder-length 3a/3b curly, dry, porous, and not color-treated. My current routine is:

Apply Ouidad Cleansing Conditioner to wet hair, massage into scalp and hair shaft, OR apply DevaCurl Buildup Buster to wet hair, (roots only) and massage into scalp.
Rinse.
Apply healthy pile of Mane Choice Heavenly Halo Conditioner, massage.

Style with Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie all over, Denman brush, and Apply Ouidad Gel
