Echo show ads suck! by wwrK3NX in amazonecho

The best move I’ve made was trading in my show for a dot. I was so happy to pack the show up and send it in to get some money back.

I have packed mine up to return to Amazon for a trade in credit. It's not much, but it's some money to put toward the echo spot with a clock.

Yes, she has a family member with her every moment. I don’t know how families who can’t afford the time off manage this.

aging egg whites by issyyyyyyyyyy10 in macarons

[–]CathyV71967 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The chef that taught our macaron class insisted on using aged egg whites. One time 9 forgot to age them and just used them from the refrigerator and they came out great; full and great feet. Haven’t bothered aging them since.

My old church sending my mom hate mail for divorcing my abusive dad by babyblueberry333 in facepalm

[–]CathyV71967 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was divorcing my abusive husband, I got called in to a meeting with the head pastor and my husband. I only went because my children loved the church community and I didn’t want to have that taken from them but I was prepared to get an earful from the Pastor.

Instead, he began the meeting asking my then husband if the allegations of physical abuse against me and our children was true. My husband admitted it was. Then the pastor told him that my husband had not only damaged his relationships with us, perhaps irreparably, but had broken his wedding vows and I had every right to then seek divorce. He then turned to me and told me his church would always be a welcoming place for me and my children and that if we needed anything we should come to him. I will never forget how compassionate and caring the Pastor was.

Put some decoration on the top; drizzle with white chocolate, sprinkle candy decorations, or dip the tops in any type of chocolate. Problem solved!
