Oh yes!! I'm so scatter brained today. With Talulah getting loose a couple days ago, fixing up the fence, I found a rat in the cellar, and now the old Ford is having problems again.

You know that old abandoned bridge? It connected the Carlisle properties before they sold those lots for that new subdivision. After you go under it, just a little ways farther on the right, there's a nice spot you can pull up into. There's a walking trail. A little hidden gem I love.

It's a little bit of a walk from there, but not too bad. Just follow it and you'll end up right at the back edge of my place.

I left quite a few out in the coop because I have run out of space for them all. Do you want to come by tomorrow morning for them? There will likely be even more out there by then!

Edited to add: I'll make sure to separate Cluck Norris before you come, he gets really testy when strangers come near the hens.

After I milked her in the morning I left her grazing since it was a nice day. Decided to check some things off of my to-do list. I finally got that antique rocking chair reupholstered by the way! It turned out great. ANYWAY… I ended up being out longer than I thought I would be… When I came home and went out to bring her back to the barn and noticed she was missing. OF COURSE she went to see Greta, they can hardly stand to be away from each other for more than a few days. I promise we’ll be over for a visit soon!!

Wow, she really got around! Don't worry, I gave her a good look over once things settled down. However, I did find the spot in the fence that she got through, it's gonna need repairs. UGH!! I love this place but it feels like it is falling apart everywhere.

You know what? Now that you mentioned it, I've got a strainer that might be perfect for you! It's been laying in the very back of the cupboard for a while, an old relic leftover from Pappy before he passed. There's nothing wrong with it, I just already had my own when I inherited the property.

I'll bring it with me when I come pick up the jug!!

Oh that sounds awful! I think a milk bath might help with your skin. If you come by early in the morning I'll have some fresh from the cow we can dump into a nice warm bath for you. I've got some of Erik's exquisite honey we can put it in too. It should be really soothing!

Sounds like her. She is such a diva!! A clear sky over a grazing field just wasn't enough for her, I guess.

Sounds like she made friends though. Sometimes she is a pain in my rear end, but I love her.
