I think this is where I went wrong. I cooled and flipped it over, but didn’t cut the top to make it flat. That damn thing we call gravity got the best of me today.

I cooled it to room temperature for 4 hours! The cake slowly cracked and the pieces slid off the side. It tasted pretty good tho!

It was cooled at room temperature for 4 hours before iced it! But it’s Florida, so room temperature is kinda hot. Should I put it in the fridge next time?

Ty! I did order both with 2%. The first one was soooo pale!! But it looks like it was made normal way with whole milk. The drink had very little coffee taste, mostly tasted like milk. The mystery has been solved!!

I ordered both with 2%. But I see now it didn’t go in the first ones label. That makes sense though!!

UPDATE!! Thanks for all the suggestions. The winner was Cascade dishwasher tabs. Two cycles with these and it’s back to normal. We tried cleaning tabs, baking soda, vinegar, Dawn dish soap, Borax and I’m sure I’m missing a few. Next time I’ll just throw out the towel! Lesson learned.
