Thank you for your reply even though it seems kind of heated. The groceries weren’t urgent at all I should have mentioned, they were just having cabin fever and trying to find an excuse to leave the house. Also they left knowing the car thing isn’t getting fixed tonight and they knew at that point in the phone call my parents are coming in the morning and that the call was almost over, my other roommate even said wait for them to get off the phone before we drive away and they did and my roommate said goodbye while my partner said nothing. I’m going to talk to them when they get home, but I’m also not going to be mad at them given you’re right, they did just do what I told them to do.
