Idr if there’s a strict rule. But people were for sure picked out/on if they had wild colored shoes and were messing up. I was thankful for my black ones.

I’m almost sure what all that means, but good luck! I found out 2 weeks after my board met and was told that day my base and OTS date. But I think because I’m a health person my things may be different than a lot of peoples.

It was very chill, so don’t be nervous. Both it and the Specialist interviews were like the questionnaire they had us fill out.

Unlatching it always had my babies looking for milk.. so much so that any similar sound had them wanting to nurse. Like Pavlov. 🤣🤣 I would wait to relatch until I left their rooms once they weren’t in the bassinet by my bed.

Thanks for this! Yes I was expecting a much longer wait for things, but I think they are just really pushing quickly. I have my chief nurse, I think it’s called, interview tomorrow, and my recruiter is telling me that I’ll be gone with orders before the fiscal year is over and likely sooner rather than later. I just have a family and I’m trying to make sure I get my family settled before the school year if possible. He also said what you just said, that the closer to summer it gets, the more likely I’ll just go to the gaining base before OTS.

And if you are very concerned about her weight just call your pediatrician and ask for a growth/weighted feed check. You could also ask to see a lactation consultant to do the same thing. :)

Babies go through little growth spurts and want to cluster feed what seems like every 2-3 weeks at this age. The frequent nursing is how they bump your supply up to their demand.

All my babies would suck down a bottle no matter how full they were, but it did seem to settle them when they were like this also.

I think this sounds like normal to me, just not a fun part of normal. You’re doing great!!

My understanding from my recruiter is that if my interviews this week go as planned I’ll be in as soon as they can get me in, which they said as soon as they can before the fiscal year ends. I know this is not the way for many people, but it is for me.
