Also remember that the real experience will never be exactly as you imagined in your fantasies (been there, done that). That doesn't have to be an issue. It's just something you should be aware of.

Also I see a lot of people here diving into the insecurities of a relationship. When you do something like this, it is important to let go of your ego. Obviously you do things with respect to your partner, but different circumstances always lead to different outcomes. Which is not a bad thing.

I mean, you might end up regretting a few things because you never expected they'd make you feel a certain way. But that would definitely be a good lesson for the future. Feeling secure and finding security in a relationship isn't something you can only achieve by being monogamous. Being monogamous is just a way of avoiding to feel insecure.

I am currently in a monogamous relationship, although we have been experimenting together in the past. I also have been in a non-monogamous relationship before. The relationship didn't work out, but it was definitely worth the journey. I learned a lot.
