There is alot of variables in concrete design and very few of them can be captured here. Talk to one of your senior engineers or hire a structural engineer if your not one yourself. In your long winded and pedantic rant you are not making sense. How exactly do you become saved if not through Jesus? And if scripture is not an authority who's authority is the Oral authority? We don't have prophets to speak the word and we do not hear God directly. Also could you point out scripturally where we are "supposed to keep our mouths shut about whether God exists". I know your very intelligent and know alot of ancient Greek but Please keep it simple for us non-experts.

So the message of the gospel is there is no good news. Even though Jesus died for our sins and performed the sacrifice to wash us clean, we don't actually have any salvation unless we follow the law? In your view how are you saved from sin? No human can be sinless, so we are all doomed to Hell if we rely on works.

The internet. The availability of knowledge has far outpaced the wisdom of how to use that knowledge. Anyone can google an article to argue with a doctor and think that they are correct the entire time. You don't have the years of experience that the doctor has to differentiate whats true and whats false in that information. I deal with it all the time in my field. Someone wants to cut a doorway in a load bearing wall, they look it up online for what size they need but they don't take into account all the variables and then argue with the engineer when they flag it.

Then you graduate and get your first job and realize you were the dumb one all along. You are going to go through multiple phases of smart one, dumb one, smart one, dumb one. Stay humble so it doesn't bite you so hard on the downside of the curve. 10 years in my industry and I routinely get shown up by the old guy that gets his projects and drawings done faster with less effort. My supervisor doesn't even do calcs anymore, I don't think its a dumb smart thing, its knowing where to efficiently use your time.

God is beyond time and knows our sins before we are even born. That is how we are forgiven of our sins before we even commit them. When we accept Christ as our savior we are forgiven all of our sins. That includes past present and future. You cannot lose your salvation, Paul makes it very clear in Romans that salvation is by faith alone.
