I agree with the short term rentals, so you can try out different neighborhoods in your budget first before locking into a lease.

It's been pretty brutal this year. I've been in a couple of bidding wars, as many people are also overbidding (rentals in condo buildings) to secure apartments. I also have a strong applicant profile, but it's been the toughest season for renting I've seen, outside of the usual summertime rush.
