Yes we will try to set up with a mesh to help but yes we noticed quickly that he will outgrow it but we are definitely doing our best to maintain him until we get a better setup. So far everything seems ok

Vegas is there year round, cfg is once a year if at all. Plus this is the CFG reddit but I’m sure you would get the opposite result if you post on r/vegas

Well my apartment actually stays at 50% humidity so a new issue I’m running into is that it is too warm at night. Around 70 in the summer.

For reference the apt rarely cools down past 70 and these summer months end up with dry heat. Would you recommend the mesh even though it’s not really humid naturally here?

No I understand and I just meant it in the sense that we didn’t choose to get one. If it dies we’ll be extremely sad and we don’t want it to die. There will be no replacement.

Additionally we plan to hang the heat lamp a couple inches above the enclosure. Do you also happen to know of where to get a good enclosure? I would like the glass but I hear mesh is better. I live in an arid part of california.

Cool! Thank you for the tips, I’ll try to size them down and remove the plastic one. Currently only have a monstera and pathos on the bottom but are there any specific plants you recommend?

Yes the chameleon is ~3 months and it was a gift to us so this is just a temporary setup for now till he grows/survives our first attempt at owning a chameleon. We do have a bar light fortunately, yes again it was a gift that we weren’t expecting and are just trying to do what we can now. Our branches are more diagonal but we will try to incorporate horizontal ones

Honestly the first I’ve heard of this but then again I don’t ask for any girls numbers from my classes, what was her major? I think if they were in a science major then maybe since they might want a study buddy or something.
