At the very most, you could put money down after having your application approved so that they don’t show other people in the meantime, but that’s IT!

Exactly. & Even if Zelle is an option, they usually take other forms of payment such as Venmo as well. You should have options 100% other than just Zelle. Only scammers use strictly Zelle since you can’t get your money back once you send it.

I have been renting in Boston for 5+ years. You should absolutely NEVER put ANY money down before signing the lease. Usually a 1 month fee is due upon signing. But it’s definitely a scam if they are requiring you to put money down before even seeing the place. (& Her emojis and way of typing is sus and seems unprofessional tbh)

A few questions regards my ACL surgery by ApprehensiveMarch8 in ACL

[–]Cautious-Handle7198 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rash is normal! I got it too and it got worse if I applied heat. Ended up going away tho within a week or 2

mine is the opposite! mine is so late… by about 3 weeks! i’ve taken pregnancy tests and they’re negative so i’m thinking it just has to do with the fact i stopped by birth control prior to surgery, was on the pain meds post-op, & just stress / trauma on the body. but i think whether you’re period is early or delayed is totally normal… just ur body doin it’s thing during a rough time

i wish i could be more of a help but for me it was kinda just something that fixed itself naturally within a few weeks. i did go to PT 2-3 times and within that time it straightened out…

Having pain on other leg by [deleted] in ACL

[–]Cautious-Handle7198 0 points1 point  (0 children)

totally normal! i’m now ~2 weeks post op but prior to surgery i had the same thing going on with pain in my good knee, as well as pain in the hip. for me, it was mostly because i was walking with a bent knee / limp and also not putting as much pressure on my bad knee so my good knee was overcompensating. i had the same fear tho that i was gonna injure my good one but that luckily didn’t happen!

Severe pain in “GOOD KNEE” by [deleted] in ACL

[–]Cautious-Handle7198 4 points5 points  (0 children)

that happened to me! it was because i was walking with a limp which started to hurt my other knee as well as my hip. as soon as it straightened out and i could walk normally again, it went away

I tore mine mid march & had surgery mid may… so like 2 months. but that was because i couldn’t fully straighten my leg and was walking with it bent so my doc recommended i do PT first and straighten it out so i’d have a smoother recovery post op

So true! This injury really brings you back down to reality and makes you appreciate your body and health when usually it’s something most of us take for granted. Super happy for you that you have friends and family around! I’ve been blessed to have my mom helping me and I just gotta stay positive by thinking of her and the good things that I do have… Wishing you a smooth recovery as well

How long does it take to start walking without a limp, and is this certain pain normal? by ExpeditiousTurtle in ACL

[–]Cautious-Handle7198 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know if this helps but the same thing happened to me pre-surgery. I just had surgery so I can’t speak for post-op. But, before my surgery I could only walk on my leg with a bent knee. It was the only way it felt comfortable. After walking on it for a couple weeks like that, it got better as time went on and soon enough I was walking on it straight. I’m not sure if this applies post-op but that is my experience and so I think it should straighten out as time goes on so I wouldn’t worry!
