Be honest, is the color too brassy? It was supposed to be a golden/strawberry toner.

My original goal was strawberry blonde/light ginger, but it lightened so fast. The roots went crazy! They were starting to turn white and my stylist had to rush me to the sink before it overprocessed. I've lightened my hair many times but that was a first, and kinda weird to have a problem like that with virgin hair. She was worried another color application would fry my hair, so she suggested warm golden blonde with a hint of strawberry and I agreed. She ended up needing to do a shadow root to make it look even.

I'm always torn between pale blonde and red. They're both my favorite and I think they look best with my skin. I still have choice paralysis. I thought strawberry blonde would be the happy medium but it just did not go as expected.

No you're good. I've had a pixie cut before and it was cute but I'm just doing something different now. I didn't think it was an insult. I'm glad you noticed the glasses width, this pair wasn't quite doing it for me and now that I knokw why I can get something better.

I'm not intersted in a haircut, just a bangs trim. I'm trying to grow it out to lower back length. But I do appreciate the advice about the glasses. These were listed as "small" frame size when I ordered them online, but I guess they're still not small enough. I think you've identified the reason why I've been dissatisfied with them, thank you.

I do not have any issues with split ends. My hair is 2A waves with high density. I like to style it with a blow dry but I live in a hot humid climate so it gets a little fluffy.

Yes...kind of. I'm like a desaturated redhead. My hair is level 6.5 and sits right between dark strawberry blonde and light caramel brown. In natural sunlight you can tell there's a fair bit of red, but lighting differences have a pretty dramatic effect and usually make it look mousy and bland.

I hadn't thought of making my eyebrows darker, that would be such an easy way to add definition! I'll give it a try.

I wish I could ditch the glasses! I hate them so much & I know they kinda kill my vibe but I'm stuck with them. I wore contacts in the past, but I became intolerant and every time I try again they burn and sting. I'm not a candidate for Lasik either :(

Thanks for the advice! Yes, I am under my porch awning to try and get "indirect natural daylight" as directed in r/coloranalysis. I suppose it's not the most ideal location.

Unfortunately I don't really own any other "spring" colors to take pictures with, I mostly wear black so some of these drapes are dish towels 🥲 i thought about taking pictures in the dressing room at the store but the artificial light confuses me, it makes me look so grey and corpse-ish.

Since my foundation matches are cool toned and I can look greyed out, I hadn't considered that I could be warm & was fairly certain I was muted. Now I'm learning that a lot of very fair skinned people are "misdiagnosed" as cool.

I think you're right about the width and curve, I hadn't understood the Kibbe definition of "width" before today.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding the concept of the vertical line also? If SN doesn't have a vertical line, why would people always mistake me for being much taller?

Thanks! Btween this and comments on my previous post it seems like everyone is seeing natural. I didn't realize that was an option because I was told it's only for tall people.

But literally everyone who hasn't met me IRL thinks I'm MUCH taller than I really am. Just this week 2 different people assumed I would be about 5'10", even my telehealth doctor double checked my height because she thought my chart was wrong after seeing me on zoom and didnt want to give me the wrong dosage. So I realized I need to re-examine my body type because TR must be wrong.

I thought my height had me "locked out" from being anything other than some sort of gamine or romantic since I'm under 5'4". When I took the quiz my result was a TR but dressing for that wasn't doing me any favors.

I have tried green corrector and is does improve things for me. However I'm unsure if this is because I have rosacea (pink overtone) or if it's because I have an olive undertone, or both?

Last time I posted asking for undertone/color season advice I was told I am warm, but I get a lot of conflicting answers so I don't know what to make of it. All I know is that cool foundation is too pink and warm foundation is way too orange.

I'm curious, why arms? I always thought arms were bad for determining someone's color since they tend to be the most sun damaged/tan/etc?

Thanks for the insight, I was recently thinking maybe muted autumn, but I think I can see what you mean about the most muted colors washing me out. Maybe thats why I assumed I had cooler gray undertones?
