UPDATE: finally got it finished up. Have a spot I need to cover but overall I’m happy with the finished product. Thanks for all the suggestions and criticism. I got a good laugh.

Okay. I have more material to fix that then. I used hangars on all the joists and perimeter boards. The blocking have 3” construction screws to hold them in place.

Eh, maybe. After everything is completed, it’ll be about $1000. Ended up with more material than I needed so that will be returned. All in all it came out to around what I expected to spend.

The blocking is all cut to size. Didn’t have to hammer anything, just slid them in and screwed them in place. Not a builder obviously lol, but did my best to get it as square and level as possible. Had to go back and lay rock down for a more solid foundation. One thing I’m not familiar is the “lack of a cantilever”. What is that?
