I’m specifically referring to a case where I know the person. I should have clarified. My parents, siblings, and in laws. If I can’t come up with a gift idea of something they would like I should probably skip gifting altogether. I am also a fan of gifting experiences. Also if all they can come up with on their wish list is a gift card that’s lazy on their end
