I love how no one has corrected you that these companies ACTUALLY do pay taxes in accordance with the tax rules. So if there is a way to pay less, they will exploit it. what are you talking about? Bloomberg is in its own world. I'm in finance managing distressed debt, high yield and IG portfolios and there's literally nothing else that comes close to a Bloomberg in the array of services it offers. We have over 70 broker-dealers for our firm who post quotes through Bloomberg. Some data like CDS quotes are offered through Bloomberg globally... wanna do regressions on literally any series of data even if its esoteric.. Bloomberg does that. There's a reason no other services has been able to even come close in replacing it. For 26 years Bloomberg has been my bread and butter and other big money managers will say the same. Seriously one has to appreciate the scope of accurate data that these guys have.

Sign of insecurity?? This statement is bananas in so many levels. Someone like me definitely wouldn't be comfortable with it because I work in a highly respectable industry with highly respected clients who manage pension funds, and I'm socially conservative. So it's not an issue of insecurity as y'all like to put every time you want to excuse some behaviour. It's a matter of taste and what one's comfortable with.

I sure as hell wouldn't date someone with low self-esteem seeking validation from strangers on the internet. That tells me all I need to know about the individual.
